One night Cruise
Day - 1
Our
journey will start from Alappuzha-known as the Venice of the East. It was here
that traders from across the seven seas came in search of black gold and souvenirs.
At 12.00 noon we plunge into a crystal maze of one of the greatest gifts of
nature that god has bestowed upon us. As the boat glides silently forward through
the largest vast expanse backwater body, The Vembanad Lake, you will drift into
a world of peace and serenity. At this point, we will serve you the mouth watering
local cuisine and you will agree that it is truly God's own country.
After a short siesta be prepared for the most fascinating journey through the
panoramic view of the paddy fields admiring duck farming, watching divers diving
for mussels via Mangalam, Chithira, R-block and C block with a cup of steaming
tea/coffee in your hand.
On our way a stop at the St. Mary's Church at Champakulam is a must. One of
the oldest churches in Kerala, the St. Mary's church is believed to be one of
the seven established by St Thomas. You will see the 130 feet long snake racing
boat here as they originally belong to this place.
We will end this wonderful day anchoring at Padakkaram Mukku. You can go for
a village trek with the boatman and have an insight into the small and beautiful
villages.
Spend the night on the deck watching the starry sky.
Day -2
After an early breakfast our journey will start towards Kanjipadam, Pallthuruthi,
Kuppapuram were you get to see local village life of the people settle on both
side of this narrow canal.
Disembark at Alappuzha Finishing Point at 10.00.A.M.
Two nights Cruise
Day - 1

On our way a stop at the Nedumudi is a must. Chavara Bhavan is the ancestral
home of the blessed Kuriakose Elias Chavara. Here, a 250 year old historically
important beacon of light is preserved intact in its original and primitive
form.
We will end this wonderful day anchoring at Vembanad Lake. Spend the night on
the deck watching the starry sky.
Day - 2
After an early breakfast our journey will start towards Kumarakom.
On
our way to Kumarakom a short stop over at Aryad Church is a must, where one
of the oldest pictures of The Holy Virgin is preserved. Then we proceed on to
Pathiramanal. This little island or the sand of midnight in the backwaters is
a favorite haunt of hundreds of rare migratory birds from different parts of
the worlds.
After lunch, a visit to the bird sanctuary, set within the lush acres of wooded
land nearby, acquaints you to the variety of migratory birds that flock here
in thousands, some from the Himalayas. Some birds are from even as far as Siberia.
Now sit back and lose yourself as your boat glides silently forward on its final
journey to Kottayam. Intense experience awaits you in Kottayam, the land of
lakes. The journey will be through the paddy fields some of which are known
all over the world as "14000 & 9000" fields.
As night approaches we will anchor at 9000 paddy field where you can tune in
to nature in all its calm and serenity.
Day - 3
Breakfast on board. There after sail to our final destination Kottayam. On this
day we will pass through the Pallamkayal (Pallam Lake) and very narrow canal
called Karimbukalathodu.
Disembark at Windsor Castle Jetty at 10.00 A.M.
